It provides individuals with the tools and support they need to find satisfaction and success in their chosen career path.
This service is an extension of basic career guidance and exploration. Individuals will work alongside our Career Specialists to develop a plan and career path.
Short-Term Pre-Vocational services help individuals acquire specific job-related skills and competencies in a short time frame. These services are typically designed to address immediate employment needs and provide practical training to enhance employability.
At the completion of the program, the job seeker will have anactive resume, specified cover letters, interviewing skills, and a universal application.
Staff Assisted Job Search is an extension of the basic career services offered to guide individuals and develop a working plan through the process of job search. Career specialists will assist in developing the skills needed to find your next employment opportunity and teach you how to fill out an effective job application.
Individualized Employment Plans (IEPs) provide a structured roadmap for individuals to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their vocational goals. Tailoring the plans to the individuals' unique needs, strengths, and aspirations, maximizes the chances of successful employment outcomes.
The GED or Adult Based Education Assistance refers to support provided to individuals who are preparing to obtain their GED credentials or High School Diploma.

This is a training method where individuals gain practical experience while working in a real work environment. This is a hands-on approach where you, the employer, and TEC design a training plan. TEC provides an incentive to potential employers by paying a negotiated portion of your wages during the training period. Most OJTs turn into full-time employment when the training period is finished.
